It is designed to blend seamlessly into your history program, helping your children to learn how art, history, religion, culture, and politics all fit together for the Northern & Italian Renaissance, Baroque & Rococo, and Neoclassicism (1400s-1830).

In each volume, you will find:

• “How to study history” – a guidebook to help you and your kids learn about the people, places, events, and works of art you’ll encounter through a historian’s point of view, understanding them for who and what they were, but also pulling lessons for today
• 12 significant artists of the period, their masterpieces, their innovations, and the world they lived in
• An understanding of the artistic period or movement, what set it apart, and why it matters today

In each artist mini-unit, you’ll also find 5 historical events and 5 significant historical figures that influenced them. There are tons of fun rabbit trails to follow, as well as events and people to fill your timeline!

Volume 1: Northern and Italian Renaissance (1300s to 1600s)
Volume 2: Baroque and Rococo Periods (1600-1750)
Volume 3: Neoclassical Period (1750-1830)

Each volume is approximately 115-120 pages and will cover at least 12 lessons.
